Three Body Problem

Title: 

  • Three Body Problem

 

Theme: 

  • Shapes, Neon Colours

 

Premise: 

  • You play as a triangle rushing around the level avoiding the faster squares that are chasing you down. Your goal is to go around the level interacting with the neon squares that pop up to gain points. Can you avoid the squares?

 

Core Mechanics

 

Controls: 

  • Mobile game(Android) = Using the joystick to move the player around the level. 

 

Physics:

  • Ice Physics will be created to cause the square enemies to slide around the level making their movements around the level harder to predict.

 

Mobile Game Format:

  • Horizontal Screen.

Gameplay:

 

  • The Player will start at the mid-bottom of the level.

  • Once the player moves the enemy cubes will start rushing towards the player.

  • After a second the objective will appear allowing the player to start collecting points.

  • If the enemy cubes touch the player then it's game over.

 

Obstacles:

  • Squares

    • Speed is higher than players speed.

    • Squares will be affected by ice physics causing them to slide around the level.

 

Score:

  • 1 point will be added each time the player interacts with the objective neon squares. 

  • Each square will randomly pop up after the player has collected a point.

 

Death:

  • Once the enemy squares touch the player the game will end. 

  • UI will appear showing the player what their score was and will give them an option to replay the game.
