Made with unity & c#

Eternis Colony was the first Global game jam that I participated in. The team consisted of 2 animators, 1 designer, 1 artist and me as the programmer. The theme for the game jam was transmission. With only 48 hrs to have a completed game,  it really tested my ability to create reliable systems at a fast pace.

through the development of Eternis Colony, I learnt a great deal about communicating with team members., making sure that my voice was heard as well as listening and respecting others opinions. Unfortunately due â€‹to the small time frame we had to create the game, there were certain decisions we could have done differently. An example of this is with the game we choose to create we were thinking on our feet making snap decisions which led us to make a game that all revolved around physics. This meant that the two animators on our team were limited with the number of animations they could do.

This experience taught me a valuable lesson about thinking carefully about the decisions that are chosen.  Making sure that the projects that we decide to go forward with suit the needs of all the team members abilities.
